Midyear Exams
As we conclude the first half of the academic year we extend our congratulations to all students in Years 7 to 11 for successfully completing their midyear exams. These assessments are a significant component of the high school journey, aiding students in consolidating their learning, building exam confidence and developing essential study and time management skills that will benefit them in the years ahead.
We commend the mature and respectful manner in which most students approached the exam period. Our gratitude also goes to the teachers for their dedicated efforts in preparing, marking and providing valuable feedback to support students' academic growth.
Early Commencement
With exams behind us we now transition into Early Commencement for Semester 2. This phase often brings new electives, teachers and timetables offering students a fresh opportunity to reset and refocus.
We encourage all students to embrace this new beginning. Utilise the skills and habits you developed in Semester 1 as a foundation to build upon. Explore new subjects, set fresh goals and seize the opportunities that lie ahead.

Year 8 French Breakfast
On Monday, 2 June Year 8 French students participated in a French food tasting event that combined cultural immersion with language practice. Students sampled traditional French foods such as croissants, pain au chocolat, cheese and baguettes while also receiving feedback on their French-speaking skills.
This experience provided an opportunity to learn new vocabulary including how to say "please" and "orange juice" in French. It was also a wonderful chance to connect with peers and teachers. Tasting authentic French cuisine for the first time was a highlight. A heartfelt thank you to Ms Pavey, Madame Morgan, Ms Christensen and Ms Trovato for hosting this memorable event! Vihar P – 8B

Join the Garden Club!
This semester Mr Randell alongside enthusiastic student volunteers and teachers has transformed the garden behind the Science Building into a thriving space filled with herbs, flowers, vegetables, fruit trees and indigenous plants. This initiative was made possible with generous support from our Parents and Friends Committee (PFC). The Garden Club meets every Monday and Thursday at lunchtime and is open to all students.
Whether you're an experienced gardener or looking to try something new you're welcome to join. There's always something to do and extra helping hands are appreciated. If you're interested in getting involved head down to the garden at the start of lunch on either day – no sign-up required!
