As the end of term approaches, I would like to thank Senior School families for their support throughout Term 1, and wish everyone a restful break.

It has been a busy term with many highlights including excursions, camps, team sport, House competition and Performing Arts… the list could go on! Last week, the Senior School was buzzing with activity as we celebrated Harmony Week in a community that embraces its wide range of cultural backgrounds.

Harmony Week is celebrated during the week that includes 21 March, the United Nations Day for Elimination of Racial Discrimination. We were able to mark this occasion with a cultural clothes day, sharing meals from various international cuisines, listening to music from around the world, and enjoying performances in song and dance during Assembly. We learnt about the significance of Ramadan and listened to poems recited by our multilingual teachers, as Harmony Day also shares the calendar with World Poetry Day!

I would like to thank all our staff and students who contributed to the many activities across the week, with particular thanks to Mrs Riviere-Pendle for her vision and passion to make this week better and better every year.
