Celebrating Success and Looking Ahead
As Term 2 comes to a close, there's been no shortage of excitement in the Junior School. Our Regional Cross Country team of five represented us with pride, showing great determination and team spirit. Congratulations to Levi, Taj, Saahib and Zara for making it to Regionals. A special mention to Snaver for qualifying for the State Championships. We wish him all the best.

Our Year 5 and 6 students had a fantastic time participating in the Winter Lightning Premiership. The sports included netball, soccer, AFL and T-ball. Well done to the Netball, AFL and T-ball teams who won their competitions. What an amazing effort!
We were dazzled by 3N’s creative and entertaining class assembly. The Junior School was treated to some mystery and fun in the “Who Done It?” performance, where many characters and staff joined in to help solve the playful crime that took place at Casey Grammar School.
The students shone on the big stage and the audience were on the edge of their seats waiting to find out who stole our raffle ticket boxes! Who would have thought it was Buddy? Bravo to Miss Nolan and her sensational students.
Well done to all students for their hard work, achievements and positive attitude throughout Term 2.
Wishing everyone a safe, relaxing and enjoyable mid-year holiday. I will be taking long service leave for Term 3 and will leave our Junior School in the safe hands of Mrs Sandra Torcasio.
Have a terrific Term 3 and I look forward to returning refreshed and ready for Term 4.

Year 4 Students Learn to Knit
This term, some of our Year 4 students have been getting creative with yarn and needles as they learn the art of knitting. They have been practising their new skills at lunchtime with the goal of knitting a cosy blanket for our wellbeing dog, Buddy.
The project has been a fantastic way for students to develop patience, concentration and fine motor skills, all while working together on something meaningful. The aim is to knit enough squares to join together for a blanket in our school's colours.

Year 4 Inquiry about Rules and Laws
Students in Year 4 have started to explore the importance of rules and laws in keeping our communities safe, fair and respectful. As part of their inquiry, students worked together to create a set of class agreements that reflect their shared values, as well as the School’s values.
In pairs, students chose one agreement to turn into a creative sign. From colourful drawings, decorations and thoughtful messages, their designs were fantastic! It was a fun and meaningful way to learn about the role of rules in our everyday lives, and they are looking forward to displaying their signs around the classroom.

Foundation House Meetings
The Foundation students had lots of fun at their House meetings. Trist House students enjoyed playing team games and it was great to see students encouraging one another and further developing friendships.
Leaver House students took turns sharing interesting facts about each other using the ‘Spin That Leaver Wheel’ challenge and sharing their birthday celebration stories since our last meeting.
Booth House students enjoyed teaming up to find where Billy Booth was hiding and then dressing him up. We also celebrated with an interactive rhythm dance. Lots of laughs and fun all round!
