Hi there,
I am looking forward to another year at CGS with my new team, creating a safe and nurturing environment where students can feel free to express themselves and their concerns (which may be impacting on their overall wellbeing).
I truly believe that it takes a village to raise a child — and this is an idiom I have seen proven in my roles as a teacher, a counsellor and a parent. I look forward to working alongside our teachers to create safe, cohesive environments in which children can learn and grow according to their needs.
In my role as counselor, I will continue to build on the social-emotional capacity of our students by providing them with the tools and strategies they need to reach their full potential and achieve their academic and well-being goals.

Hello,
My name is Sarah Quin and I am delighted to be joining the Casey Grammar School counselling team this year.
I am a registered counsellor with a Master of Counselling, a Bachelor of Science and a Graduate Diploma in Education. I enjoy working in schools with children of all ages and particularly specialise in working with adolescents. I make use of a variety of therapeutic models and evidence-based practice to best work with the student.
I believe that growth and change are best achieved when a safe and trusting relationship is developed with the student through a warm, empathic and supportive approach. I draw on my many years of working in schools, both as a wellbeing leader and as a counsellor, to support students and their families while working closely with staff. I am excited to become an active member of the Casey Grammar community.
