Eager to Reset After the Challenges of 2020

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Senior School students and their families to the 2021 school year. Personally, following my extended Long Service Leave, it has been a thrill to return to a community underpinned by the values of Compassion, Inclusion, Integrity, Respect and Excellence.

My return has come at a time where students and staff are eager to reset after the tumultuous events of 2020. The calendar is filling quickly with a range of activities to engage students in their learning and to connect with experiences beyond the classroom.

Preparing to Lead in 2021

Our Year 12 Student Leadership Team members returned to campus in January to reflect on their new roles, to prepare their Leadership Launch and consider their Action Plan in their Leadership Portfolios.

Our Year 7 students were able to complete their Orientation Program in the first two days of term with the aim of forming new friendships, familiarising themselves with their new surroundings, and understanding the routine and expectations of a student at Casey Grammar.

Making a Good Impression

Our Welcome Assembly focused on the importance of making a good first impression. Points to consider were punctuality, body language, sincerity, and responsibility – qualities that are observed in our students every day.

We look forward to a successful year ahead!
