It Takes a Village

You’ve probably heard the saying “It takes a village to raise a child”. This week we witnessed firsthand the culmination of the Casey Grammar community, “the village”, who have all contributed to the raising up and formation of the graduating Class of 2022.

The Year 12 students were surrounded by family, friends and staff from across the breadth of the School from Foundation, right through the Primary School and Secondary School years.

It has been a reminder of the wonderful power of relational connection; of knowing and valuing one another, and of cheering each person on to their amazing potential. Each of us has a role to play in encouraging the next generation to shine, and to live lives that flourish.

A huge congratulations to the Year 12 students who graduated, but also well done to each and every person in the Casey Grammar community who contributed to their journey – no matter which age or stage they were at.

Shine brightly Class of 2022, and thank you for the inspiration you have been, are, and will continue to be as you live out our Casey Grammar school values in life.

"You are the light of the world...let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.” Gospel of Matthew 5:

Blessings,
