Congratulations Year 12!

I am incredibly proud of our Year 12 students for the way in which they conducted themselves at their Valedictory Assembly last Thursday.

In the lead up to this special day, we all shared the disappointment in realising that our Valedictory celebrations were unable to be held face-to-face. However, it was reassuring to know that we were joined in spirit by the wider CGS community who were viewing the presentation remotely.

Our graduating students gathered with their friends and teachers for a lovely celebration that morning before heading home to prepare for the virtual Valedictory Dinner.

A number of awards were presented that evening:

  • The ADF Long Tan Leadership and Teamwork Award – Elorenzo San Pedro
  • The ADF Future Innovators Award – Alexia Gherghiceanu
  • The Vocational Education and Training Award – Bridie Forster
  • The Duffy & Simon Law Award – Christopher Banks
  • The Principal’s Art Acquisition Prize – Jaime Wight
  • The Ampol Best All Rounder Award – Ellen Streat

Congratulations and best wishes to our graduating Class of 2021!

Our school grounds are starting to come back to life with the return of onsite learning, beginning with Years 7, 10 and 11 students last Friday. Our Years 8 and 9 students return this week. It will be challenging to manage hybrid learning during this staggered return to school, so students are reminded to carefully check the information sent through Seqta.

Welcome back, Senior School!
