We Want to Hear from You
As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we’re inviting all parents and carers to complete a short survey about your child’s experience at our school.
Your feedback plays a vital role in helping us understand what we’re doing well and where we can improve. From classroom learning to wellbeing, your insights will directly inform our planning and decision-making for the future.
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey by Friday, 6 June.
Your voice helps shape a better learning environment for every student.
Please complete the survey here.
Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership in your child’s education.
1 New Holland Drive
It is with great excitement that we announce the purchase of 5.85 acres of land next door to the school at 1 New Holland Drive. This land will allow us to extend our play space and construct an additional oval.
New facilities under consideration for this land include a Gym, a Food Tech Centre, a Pavilion and a new Chapel. This land will also provide the school with street frontage on busy Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road.
Learning Centre
Our new Joan Reid Learning Centre is nearing completion. Interiors are being finalised and landscaping has begun. We are looking forward to moving into our new buildings and plan to have them fully operational by the start of the new school year.
Addams Family
What a joy it was to see our school production of The Addams Family. On behalf of the appreciative audience, I extend our congratulations to the staff and students involved in creating this series of magical evenings. This production is being widely hailed as the best Casey Grammar School production yet!
Thank you to every member of the production team, cast and crew for their creativity and coordination. The shows were perfect in every way.
Movie Night
Congratulations also to Mr Ben Peake and his Year 10 and Year 11 Drama students who performed last week. The Year 11 students presented their adaptations, where they created and performed a devised ensemble performance.
The Year 10 students were lucky enough to perform a play written by our own Mr Ben Peake called Movie Night. It was a hilarious script delivered with great comedic timing by the students. Bravo!
Simultaneous Storytime
On 21 May at 12:00pm, Casey Grammar Junior School students joined thousands of students across Australia in Simultaneous Storytime. I was honoured to be invited to read The Truck Cat by Deborah Frenkel and Danny Snell to the Year 3 and 4 students.
They loved the story and, as a past VCE Literature teacher, I loved the various literary devices used by the author to convey meaning. There is no doubt that picture books can be as intricate, symbolic and detailed as a novel. I am very proud to be part of this annual storytelling event.
Reconciliation Week – 26 to 30 May 2025
Reconciliation Week was again filled with significant events and activities thanks to our dedicated and tireless Mrs Monique Riviere-Pendle. The week commenced with a Sorry Day gathering at the flagpole, where the flags were lowered to half-mast as we acknowledged and said sorry for past wrongs.
Later in the day, we held an official opening for the Indigenous Arbour situated next to the oval. Designed and constructed by our Year 11 Product Design class, the Arbour was commissioned by the RAP Committee to house Indigenous artwork. The Arbour is a beautiful addition to our grounds.
